Well, where does one start? As the Alice Through the Lookings Glass' Red Queen said, "To begin at the beginning is a very good place to start...". So here I am. At the beginning. As blogging is a form of remembering it is appropriate I start this blog on Armistice Day.
I was born in Canada, did all sorts of weird and wonderful things in my life there. I reside in the Scottish Highlands in a cozy, solid granite cottage surrounded by hills and trees, red deer, pheasants and a plethora of wildlife. I keep hens, ducks, 3 dogs and 3 cats. I co-ordinate my local Freecycle group, AberdeenshireWest Freecycle, participate in our local Pantomime society, care for my hennies, enjoy a pint now and then at the local and generally lead a quiet but satisfactory life. I have good friends close by, family and friends throughout the UK, back in Canada and in all other corners of the world. I enjoy travelling, especially on the Indian sub-continent and someday soon will return for an extended visit. Somewhere out there is Mr. Right, who with my luck I will only meet 2 minutes before I die. But first things first, so I shall get on with my life.
